Crosswalk · Tool 05
Every FHIR to OMOP pipeline makes decisions the source data did not make for it. This tool records those decisions while you still remember why you made them, and exports the record as markdown you can paste into a repository, a protocol, or a data quality report.
These are the choices most pipelines have to make. Selecting one fills in the question and a starting point for the reasoning, which you then edit to match what you actually did.
A decision log is not a confession. It is the part of the documentation that lets a reviewer trust the rest of it. A pipeline with twenty recorded assumptions is easier to defend than one with none, because the second one made the same twenty decisions without telling anyone.
